It’s been a while since my baby girl got her braces off…. I neglected to post a photo of her BEAUTIFUL new braceless smile!! I have been a bit busy, having had 2 trips postponed already, I am hoping I can get this trip out of the way this next time….a couple more weeks and I should know. If not it will be another couple months before I can get back out there…..so this had better be it!! This isn’t the best photo I have…it was taken from my hubby’s iPhone, while driving down the road, after we had gotten in the truck from near 60mph winds, hence her hair having that wonderful windblown look…..LOL. She is BEAUTIFUL anyway!! LOVE HER!! She had decided just about 2 weeks ahead of getting her braces off that she wanted to get about 8 inches of her hair cut off….so she had the short hair too, which is super cute!
We were quite surprised when the Orthodontist told us that there is a possibility that she may not have to wear braces again if she continues to wear the retainer at night and the adult teeth that come in from here on can be directed into the right places. We will have to wait and see…..lots of time between now and then. So much has changed between when I had them and now. Kids have it so much better now…..and our parents would have said the same thing!!
Thanks for stopping by…..
Until next time……
This is a girl who has her head on straight!! She only goes to school part of the day because she finished all her courses needed to graduate, and instead of spending the extra time goofing off she went out and got a job to help pay for college!! WOW!! Mom and Dad have done lots right with this one. She is planning on going to college, BUT…….she wants to be a model too and I think she could do it. What a great time I had with Amber as we went to the Railroad Museum and then walked the Historical District, we even got a good chuckle when she got spooked by a dog and it’s owner leaving the building where we were using the door and entry way as a backdrop. I had a hard time just choosing a few to show here…..this girl doesn’t really take a bad photo!!
Thanks so much for stopping by.
Until Next Time………
It has been a VERY long time since I entered a photo in the I Heart Faces Photo Challenge, but I felt moved to do so as I LOVE black and white Photo’s. I took this photo at a recent shoot to document her daughters 6 month milestone mark. When I did her 3 month photo’s she was NOT feeling the paparrazzi, this time however, she was showing her DIVA side. I LOVE this photo for the interaction between Mom and daugher…….
Such Beautiful Kisses!!
Thanks for stopping by, Until next time……

Until Next Time…….
I came back to my blog and I was shocked to discover that WOW, it really has been almost 3 whole months since I have posted anything here. I’m at total slacker, at least I feel like one when it comes to this blog. Now my life….now that is a total different story. I have been one BUSY Mamma, and most of it has NOT been taking photo’s recently. Between Church, Girls Scouts and trying to maintain some king of a normal family life around illness and kids and their school and school activities I feel like I just haven’t had much time at all.
I will share some of what I’ve taken over the last 3 months…….
The three above from a vehicle accident and fire.
And the four above from when hubby and friends ran the Tough Mudder Central Texas in October. Over 12 miles and 28 obsticles and they finished in 3 hours and 30 minutes……SO PROUD of them!!!
So as Christmas approaches we are getting ready for all the festivities. We have the tree up and half decorated, lights are on it and some of the ornimates….the kids still have to put the rest of them on. Presents are starting to be placed under the tree, and we are getting ready for the kids school break which means school parties and adult parties all around. So there will be a SUPER BUSY few weeks ahead of us. I hope NOT to neglect the blog as I had…..SO HOPING to have the drive to get back to it.
Until next time………
Well, we did get to go do the newborn shoot last week. I was super excited about taking pictures of this precious girl. Ms. D. however had a different idea of how this shoot was going to go. She decided to sleep until about 45 minutes before we got there and then get up and was ready to eat. After that she wanted to stay awake for a while, but she wasn’t quite so sure about being a Super Model for us. After about 2 hours of working with her and Mom we had a few good shots and it was time to go and get all of our kids from VBS (Vacation Bible School). So my partner in crime went after all our kids while I stayed and tried to get a few more shots, but now Ms. D was NOT having it. So Mom tried again to feed and she finally fell asleep, now that we had a house full of noisy kiddo’s!! Isn’t that always the case?? But we managed to get some great shots I think….. So Meet Ms. D……
And a BIG, BIG Thank You to Ms. D’s Mom and Grandma for being so helpful, and allowing us to work with Ms. D for so long to get all the pictures. You both are truly a Blessing to us and to so many others!!! Enjoy!!
Thanks for stopping by and….. Be Blessed!!
